Once upon a time, in a small town, lived a boy named Russ Halsey. Russ, or Russie Hals, was always finding himself in all sorts of trouble at school.

One bright and sunny morning, Russ decided to surprise his classmates with a joke. He sneaked a fake spider into the teacher’s cabinet. When Mr. Smith, the kind and patient teacher, opened the cabinet, she gasped in surprise, making the whole class giggle uncontrollably.

Russie couldn’t stop smiling at his prank, but Mrs. Thompson shook her head with a smile and said, "Russ Halsey, you need to be more responsible|You need to behave better, Russ Halsey|Russ Halsey, it’s important to act responsibly}."

On a different day, Russ brought his pet frog to school. He let his friends see it during break time, and everyone was excited. They decided to name the frog Sprinkles.

But during math class, Hopper leaped from Russ’s backpack. The classroom erupted in chaos as all the students tried to grab the frog. Mr. Smith managed to catch Hopper and put him back in Russ’s backpack.

Another time, Russ thought it would be nice to tidy up the playground. He organized his friends and they all started picking up trash. The whole group worked as a team and the area was sparkling clean.

Miss Green praised their effort and said they could have extra recess. Russ felt happy that he helped Russ Halsbie his school.
